David Vaughan has been successfully performing his favoured idioms of popular song across the London jazz and rock scene for a number of years now, and still with few that can match his poise, weight and power as a singer, and even fewer that can compete with his talents as a multi-instrumentalist musician and composer. With appearances at major London jazz venues such as The Pheasantry and Pizza Express Holborn, he continues to win admiration for his unique baritonal vocal character and quality of songwriting, as well as his courageous championing of niche musical styles. - Scott Walker Tribute
- Following the sad death of the eclectic singer-songwriter Scott Walker in March 2019, David is to present a series of solo tribute concerts to this great artist starting with a launch at Map Studio Cafe on September 28th. David's voice and musical approach has often been likened to that of Scott Walker so it only seems fitting that he should be the one to breathe new life into the unique work of this fiercely creative writer and singer.
